"THE CARGILL SALT MINE HISTORY"

Louise Bement, Lansing town historian, will present a program on the history of the Cargill salt mine. Louise taught at the Lansing schools in the mid 1980s and started serving as town historian in 1981. She is well known for her knowledge on the history of Lansing and its salt mines.
Programs are held at the community building on Clinton Street. Our programs are free and open to the public. The building is handicap accessible.
